Today we’re sharing that Prospect AI has been selected as one of the first five winners of Reed’s All About Business Entrepreneurs Fund. The award was announced at Reed’s London offices, following a pitch to a panel led by James Reed, Chairman and CEO of Reed, alongside CFO Lewis Crowther, Chief Customer Officer Jennifer May and non-executive director Adrian Moorhouse MBE.
The fund was launched to mark Reed’s 66th year and will back 66 young founders over the coming years. It’s inspired by Sir Alec Reed, who started Reed in 1960 aged 26 with £75 and built it into the world’s largest family-run recruitment company. Alongside financial backing, each winner receives a year of expert mentorship and a national platform for their business.
Prospect AI was founded in 2023 to be the AI revenue engine for B2B sales teams: a colleague, not a spam cannon. Outbound still works, but trust in it has collapsed under years of over-promising. We’re building the system that earns it back, one that understands a customer’s business, sets goals it can actually hit, and gets sharper with every send.
“This means the world to us. We’re building a business that wants to redefine trust in B2B sales, and having Reed’s support, from the people who built the country’s biggest recruiter, is what the next stage of our growth needs as we scale.”
